Our school’s small size makes possible one-on-one dialogue between students and teachers on a daily basis so that students know they are valued. Sterne School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is certified by the California State Department of Education.

Sterne School is a nationally recognized independent  co-ed day school. We serve a wide range of students who’ve been indentified with learning differences and varied learning styles. We know that when students are taught they way they prefer to learn, they achieve success and can realize their academic and life goals.

Students come to Sterne with a wide range of learning profiles and learning styles including dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, (ADD) and non-verbal learning differences (NVLD).
