Dolphin Athletics

Overview

The Dolphin Athletics Program centers on respect: Respect for self, respect for the activity, and respect for others - participants, officials, and coaches. Through participation, students also come to understand the importance (and associated rewards) of teamwork, healthy competition, and self-discipline. We believe that athletics are a conduit for instilling values that help our students pursue their growth in the larger world.

High School

Sterne High School debuted its first uniform team - wrestling, in spring 2014 and has since grown into a multi-sport athletics program. Now, Sterne is helping establish and implement the Bay Area Small School Athletic League (BASSAL), a new league for smaller, independent Bay Area high schools with ten schools either in process or actively participating.

Being part of a team helps students set goals inside and outside of the classroom. I'm so proud of them and their accomplishments.
