Carrie Messina
Carrie Messina is a Learning & Development Specialist for Bechtel Corporation, specializing in web-based training program design and development. Over the course of her career in corporate training, Carrie has developed learning solutions for various Fortune 500 companies such as Apple, Nokia, Microsoft, Rockwell-Collins and Corning, Bank of America, and Citicorp.

Carrie also has a background in child development and worked for a period of time with children ages 5 – 9. For 3 years, she operated a part-time, private practice working with children in a 1:1 setting administering the Perceptual Enrichment Program (PEP) for children with visual perceptual learning differences as well as the Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) program.

She lives with her four children in San Francisco’s Glen Park, where they have resided for 27 years. She is active in her neighborhood, fond of all outdoor sports, cooking, theater, opera, and reading.
