Sterne School develops a customized learning plan for each 6th-12th grade student, focusing on their strength areas, identifying areas for development and guiding them on a path to success in a private, supportive atmosphere.

Our students have succeeded on their paths towards learning discovery based on our low 6:1 student-teacher ratio, allowing our faculty to engage with their students and provide tailored attention.

Sterne School offers a rigorous academic program specializing in experiential learning, assistive technology and the arts. Our college preparatory curriculum focuses on the integration of learning styles and multiple intelligences while teaching reading, math, science and English. We also offer dynamic programs focusing on social skills, critical thinking and organization. At Sterne School, we believe that education is not confined to the traditional classroom. Beyond our curriculum, we specialize in socialization and self esteem development with an emphasis on respect, responsibility, community and service learning.

Sterne students can experience a seamless transition to college through the Pathfinders program and experiential Passages program - transition them to 4-year universities, community colleges, vocational programs, jobs and internships.

Upon graduating from Sterne School, students have an accredited high school diploma, a transition plan for college and beyond, self-esteem through personal growth and the self awareness to help them achieve their life goals.
