Welcome to Sterne School in San Francisco.  We are a small, nurturing environment for middle and high school students with mild to moderate learning differences. Our aim is to remove the pressure and fast pace our students often find in traditional schools so that students can transition from frustration to learning discovery.

Situated in Pacific Heights in a location convenient to the entire Bay Area, we provide stability, confidence and new skills to help our students realize their individual academic potential and contribute positively to society. In our warm, respectful, and diverse community, many Sterne students experience educational success for the first time. They benefit from the extra attention of teachers and the support of each other. They acquire new tools that allow them to find their own voices.
