"Life After Sterne" Snapshot
In the last five years, Sterne School has graduated 100% of its high school seniors. Of those seniors, 40% have moved on to 4-year universities such as UC Berkeley, University of Arizona, USF, and Mitchell. 20% of our graduating seniors chose to begin their college career at 2-year programs such as San Francisco City College and College of Marin and have then transferred to 4-year programs. Over 30% have chosen specialized schools such as culinary arts and filmmaking. The remaining graduates have either graduated from their 2-year college program and entered the workforce or began their career at the completion of Sterne's high school program.
Student Snapshot
The Bay Area is home to a very diverse population and the students at Sterne School also reflect that diversity. Students come from as far north as Novato and as far south as Burlingame. Many students start their academic career with us during their middle school years (grades 6 - 8) however most recently many students have transferred into our high school program from either the public or private sector. Of these students, nearly 80% have spent some time in the public school system while 20% have been educated in a private school setting. |
