Estate Planning   We encourage donors interested in supporting Sterne through a bequest to speak with us.   Long-term commitments to Sterne help us to plan for the School's future.

Charitable bequests carry many possible tax advantages.   We advise all donors to seek legal advice about making a bequest in this suggested format:  

"I give and bequeath to Sterne School (Federal Tax Identification #94-0199757) _______% of my total estate (or $________). Sterne School is a not-for-profit tax exempt organization located in the state of California and having as its principal address 2690 Jackson Street, San Francisco, CA 94115."

Assets that are not transferred through a will such as those in a qualified retirement plan (including IRA, Keogh, 401 (K), 403(b), etc.) may be gifted to Sterne by naming Sterne School as the beneficiary of your plan.   To leave your retirement assets to Sterne School, simply name Sterne School on the beneficiary line when you sign up or modify your current election by notifying your plan administrator.

Vehicle Donations   Sterne School welcomes vehicle donations through Car Program LLC, the nation's largest car donation center. Car Program LLC acts on behalf of Sterne School to receive and process auto donations.

eScrip   A hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at selected merchants, eScrip is a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing

a percentage of purchases to a chosen group.   In other words, Sterne families can shop for everything from groceries to airplane travel, and a percentage of their purchases will be directed to Sterne.   In order to use eScrip, families are encouraged to register grocery club cards, frequent flier cards, or debit/cards:
