Sterne School hosts two separate summer programs: Summer at Sterne, and Sparking Your Genius. Read below to learn more about these individual programs.

The Summer at Sterne program blends learning and fun with theme-based experiential adventures. This refreshed and redefined program provides students with an enriching, engaging, fun summer agenda. Our weekly course themes include the movies, games, and activities we know students love, from Star Wars to LEGOs, and baking to biking -- there's something for everyone.

Features of Summer at Sterne include:
-local field trips (museums, landmarks, and more!)
-hands-on activities
-a 9-5 daily schedule (avoid after-school care)
-all courses taught by Sterne's beloved faculty members
Plus, pick and choose your schedule and which weeks you want to attend.

Summer at Sterne is open to anyone in grades 4-12 (for the 2020-2021 academic year). You do not need to be enrolled at Sterne to participate in our Summer at Sterne program.

Sparking Your Genius provides intensive individualized training in reading, writing, math, and oral language for kids with learning and attention challenges entering 5th through 12th grades—away from the distractions and pressures of the school year.

Each of the two-week clinics will have a student-to-instructor ratio of no more than 3:1 and enrollment capped at 6, balancing lots of individual attention with enough students to make group work fully engaging.
