Academics

Sterne offers a comprehensive and challenging college preparatory curriculum, designed and led by expert faculty. Class sizes are limited to 10–15 students. Our teachers pride themselves on being available both for academics and mentorship—a culture reinforced by daily Office Hours, Homework Hall, and a host of student-led, faculty-supported clubs and co-curricular opportunities. Students are empowered to take ownership of their learning and growth.

Our college counseling team works closely with students guiding them through a personalized and intentional college search that aligns with their strengths, interests, and aspirations. Our graduates go on to make waves as creators, problem-solvers, thinkers, and leaders.
At the core of Sterne's philosophy is helping students understand how they learn best. If a student needs certain accommodations, we teach them how to self-advocate: during their time at Sterne, in college, and beyond.
Embedded into our program are Universal Design for Learning principles (UDL) that help ensure everyone has access to the curriculum, no matter how they learn.
