Program Overview

Self-reflection, self-advocacy, pursuing your passions, and leadership opportunities are at the core of Sterne School’s college preparatory curriculum. With our tight-knit community, small class sizes, and teacher mentorship, we start with strengths and help students achieve their potential. 

We are leaders and mentors, connected to our community inside and outside the classroom. Through student-led clubs and affinity groups, Eye to Eye National, and student government, there is a place for students to take the lead.

From the studio to the theater, in front of the camera and behind the scenes, creativity and self-expression are always center stage at Sterne. Our students pursue a wide variety of interests: they are athletes, mathematicians, scientists, filmmakers, artists, avid readers and writers, and activists. Sterne High School is the place to pursue your passions.

Expand your horizons! Sterne High School students contribute to rich student life experiences through arts, athletics, clubs and affinity groups, and exciting school traditions like dances, movie nights, carnival, and more. Experiential travel takes our students on local and international adventures, deepening their understanding of the world and its diverse cultures.

With the next academic journey in mind, our college counseling team works with students and their families so that our graduates identify the best-fit schools. Sterne graduates have been accepted to more than 100 colleges and universities, where they pursue their passions as creators, problem-solvers, thinkers, and leaders.
