Our Parent Community

The journey to Sterne School is a family affair and our community provides multiple opportunities for parents to engage and connect. We have a robust and committed Parents Association that sponsors a variety of gatherings, cultivates a supportive community and provides gateways for us to grow and learn from each other.

Parents Association President: Pamela Berg

Pamela Berg joined the Sterne community in 2019, one year after she, her husband, daughter and son (who attends Sterne), and two dogs moved cross-country from New Jersey. Pamela, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduated with a BSN from Stockton University in NJ and an MBA from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Pamela's professional experience includes over 20 years in pharmaceutical marketing and operations. In addition, she has worked as a registered nurse in the open heart ICU and with heart and lung transplant patients. Pamela is currently a full-time parent to 9th grader Jake and launching her daughter Rachel to college. She enjoys tennis and hiking and serves as the secretary for the Corte Madera Women's Improvement Club in Marin county.

Pamela is looking forward to collaborating with Parents Association members to build a sense of community and to generate opportunities for Sterne parents to have some fun.  Also a priority for the coming year, the Parent Association will seek to provide new and enriching activities for our Sterne students.
