In his last summer before graduating Sterne School, Aidan, a member of our senior class, embarked on a true experiential opportunity. In quintessential Irish countryside marked by rolling grassy hills, Aidan spent the summer working on his uncle's dairy farm in southeast Ireland.
His responsibilities included cutting corn, building hay, and feeding cows (fun fact, cow food is called silage). Aidan's uncle grew up in Ireland and has spent his entire career running his Dairy Farm in Ireland. This was Aidan's first time working on a farm and when asked for a summary of his experience, he replied, "It was really hard work."
Aidan will graduate this June and is exploring Computer Aid Drafting as a potential career path. He has his eyes on the CAD program at Menlo College.
