The 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign

A campaign that honors our past, celebrates our present, and builds our future.

HONORING OUR PAST...

by closing out our prior capital campaign, an initiative that every Sterne student benefits from today. It built our game-changing Arts & Athletics Center, which gives Sterne students access to some of the best state-of-the-art facilities in the Bay Area.

CELEBRATING OUR PRESENT...

by renovating the vacated St. Mary's preschool on our ground floor into a flexible-use space that the entire Sterne community can use. We can transform this annex space into a vibrant community hub right in our lobby, and we can do it quickly—likely completing this final piece of our forever home as soon as funding is secured.

BUILDING OUR FUTURE...

by seeding an endowment. A critical source of financial stability ensuring that Sterne can continue to provide exceptional education for generations to come, our endowment will ensure that the legacy Val Anthony started back in 1976 continues for the next fifty years and beyond.

               When I look around this place and I see our state-of the-art gym, the incredible film studio, the art studios, the science lab, the music room, these incredible facilities we have here in downtown San Francisco, I always remind myself that those were the gifts of families before mine. And I want to make sure that—as we celebrate our 50th anniversary—we continue to raise the bar; that we make this school visible and accessible to as many people as possible. I mean, honestly, my Board position is just my way of paying it forward."
