Special Events
GrandFriends: NovemberSterne celebrates our grandparents and special friends with a series of gratitude events during the month of November. Our GrandFriends are invited to write a leaf for the Gratitude Tree and to make a tribute gift in honor of their grandchild. GrandFriends activities culminate in a special student music and film performance (via zoom this year).
Gala: March
The Annual Sterne Gala is an adults-only themed evening event with a Live Auction, Fund-a-Need, entertainment, and dancing. Now in its sixth year, the 2022 Gala will be an in-person evening once again! Our Gala traditionally supports arts programming at Sterne, with a special Fund-a-Need that differs each year.
Walkathon: May
This student-led fundraiser has taken many forms at Sterne: a color run, a massive scavenger hunt, and a yogathon. Students ask family and friends to sponsor them, and the funds raised support experiential education at Sterne.
